





My mise en place consisted of cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, sugar, oats and all purpose flour. I used frozen blueberries because the fresh berries were not very fresh at all and were way too expensive. I used pre-made graham cracker crust because I personally like it, the recipe didn't call for it but that was my addition. I decided to coat the bottom of the graham crust with blueberry apple sauce becues i though it would be cool, it ended out working really good, kept the crust moist, which I like better. I read the passage attached to this recipe, and i really wanted to do it justice. It was so descriptive and it almost made me feel like i was in the blueberry field and i could see everything the man was describing. Unfortunately i could only use frozen blueberries because of the season, but other than that i feel like a did a good job. I made 3 mini blueberry crisps and my friend Jon at all 3 of them and Brittney ate the topping.
